What is my investment?

 

Tuition MS: For 2026-2027, middle school tuition is $14,240.

Tuition HS: For 2026-2027, high school tuition is $15,150.

APPLICATION FEE: $100

CRUCIBLE CAMP OR FORGING CAMP: $450

SENIOR GRADUATION FEE: $750

ENROLLMENT/REENROLLMENT FEE: $750

RESOURCE & FIELD TRIP FEE: $750

OPTIONAL FEES & EXPENSES:
 

DUAL ENROLLMENT: $300

ATHLETIC FEE: $175-$200 depending on sport

CLUB FEES: $75 per semester

EARLY WITHDRAW FEE: $850

FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION: $45

OTHER: Uniform, spiritwear, yearbook, school pictures, letter jackets, and donations are examples of other potential costs parents can expect to pay during the year.

Financial Aid

NCSEAA: Families needing financial aid are encouraged to apply for the Opportunity Scholarship from the North Carolina State Educational Assistance Authority. These funds are applicable to the cost of tuition and may not cover the additional fees listed above.

America's Christian Credit Union: Families may be interested in a loan option to help cover the cost of tuition. 

Tennyson Scholarship: Thanks to generous donors, additional funds may be available for qualifying families who submit our Financial Aid application.

Tuition and Fees FAQs

How are tuition payments made?

In July, each family enrolled in the upcoming school year will begin receiving information on setting up a tuition payment plan. Most families elect to have monthly payments withdrawn via ACH. Other families choose to pay entirely upfront or per semester. Invoices are sent via email to explain the payment needed and when it is due.

What if my family is unable to pay the full cost of tuition?

We encourage all of our families to apply for the Opportunity Scholarship through NCSEAA as their primary option for tuition relief. 

Due to the financial assistance Iron Academy has already committed to existing families, we have very little new scholarship funding available for incoming families for 2025-2026.

What does the Resource Fee cover?

The Resource Fee helps to cover costs associated with buying classroom materials, such as textbooks, novels, curriculum supplements, science equipment, and other supplies provided to the students.

What do the Athletic Fees cover?

The Athletic Fee helps us to offset the costs of uniforms, coaches, association dues, referees, field/court rentals, transportation, and other supplies.
