“It's obvious in their faces when they talk to you. It didn't take me long to know that these teachers really care about you.” - Iron Academy Student
Iron Academy's focus on Discipleship is our most distinctive trait. Its sets us apart from all other Christian schools. Christ didn't just preach, he lived daily life with those He was ministering to. Every aspect of daily life at Iron Academy is considered with this question in mind, 'How can we maximize the day to maximize our discipleship opportunities?"
Times are set aside in our daily bell schedule to allow teachers the opportunities to talk with students and check in with them regarding anything from life at school to life at home. From the morning break after Convocation to our afternoon “D-period”, students and teachers have frequent chances to connect on important issues and apply biblical wisdom to life situations.
Incorporating our yearly academic schedule to include unique opportunities like Blade Maintenance Days, Accountability Days, and Culture Days means we follow Christ's example of taking time out of busy schedules to devote to building relationships.
When our students know they are loved and cared for, they learn to love and care for each other. They will carry these traits with them into adulthood. Our most successful students are those who desire to be discipled and to disciple others.
