School Cancellation Process
Should Iron Academy or the Health Deptartment deem it necessary for us to close school, we will immediately communicate with parents. Please make sure all of your contact information is updated in FACTS (RenWeb) so you will receive text alerts, emails, phone calls, etc.
If school is in session when the determination is made to close, please make every effort to pick your student up as soon as possible. Please call the front office to communicate any changes regarding who will be taking your student home or picking them up. Upon picking up your student, please remind them to check their belongings and make sure they have all textbooks, notebooks, personal items, etc. Leaving items at school may hinder them from completing classwork at home and may result in failing grades.
