Mrs. Crystal Bowman

Mrs. Crystal Bowman

This month we are excited to feature Crystal Bowman in our Staff Spotlight.

Mrs. Bowman has been a teacher at Iron Academy for 5 years. Growing up as a little girl in her mother's classroom and always helping her mother with classroom activities, the desire to be a teacher quickly grew. Mrs. Bowman has been in education for 16 years and has taught everything from preschool to 9th grade. Anyone who has spent any time with young people will tell you, working with middle school students is a special calling that not everyone has! Well, it's very apparent Mrs. Bowman has that calling.

As our middle school ELA and Bible teacher, Mrs. Bowman has the special opportunity to speak into the lives of students who are truly leaving boyhood behind and entering their foundational years of manhood. Her first priority as a teacher is to grow her students in their relationship with Christ.  Her second priority is getting to know them personally, and thirdly, to grow them academically. By keeping Christ first in her classroom, her students are challenged to grow and mature in every aspect of their lives.

Mrs. Bowman has been married to her husband, James, for 17 years. Her 3 daughters, Kynlee, Kynadee, and Olivia, keep her busy between dance, volleyball, and family outings on the lake. As an ELA teacher, she also loves to read, of course, and is always on the hunt for new books to use in her classroom. Being a mother to 3 daughters only ignites her passion to help young men grow in their walks with Christ. In the rest of her time, she works on the IA Yearbook, graduation and other senior class activities. Iron Academy is very blessed to have Mrs. Bowman be a part of the team!

If you support our vision of restoring biblical manhood through iron-sharpens-iron discipleship, would you consider becoming an Iron Academy ally by making a one-time or monthly donation of $10, $25, $50, or more today?
