Keyoni is finishing up his 6th grade year at Iron Academy. Iron has inspired him to be the young man that God has designed him to be. He has become bolder in his walk, and more confidant knowing that his identity is in Christ. Keyoni has really become a leader and has earned the honor of being a challenge coin recipient. Shortly after receiving his coin he was nominated, and then chosen to be a middle school tribe leader.
Keyoni really enjoys bible class, IA is the first school that he has attended where bible was a part of the curriculum. He excitedly comes home and shares new bible stories with his mom (which she absolutely loves!). He is challenged mentally and physically every day and understands how lucky he is to have teachers who pray for and encourage him often.
Keyoni has had a great first year at Iron Academy! He has been on the A/B honor roll, played on the middle school basketball team, earned his challenge coin, was a middle school tribe leader, and was asked to be a guest on the Steve Noble radio show to discuss his experience at IA. During Crucible Camp, Keyoni kayaked for the first time, learned survival skills, and how to be a valuable team player.
Keyoni attends Catch the Fire church where he and his family serve on the welcome team committee. He is a kind-hearted young man who loves to be helpful and doesn’t think twice to give his last granola bar to someone in need. He works hard to live by the Honor Code and prides himself in doing so. He has a bright future ahead of him and IA will play a big role.
