Lunch Ordering

If you want your son to enjoy a hot lunch at school, it's easy! Lunches can be ordered by creating an account at www.myfooddays.com. Each day of the week will have a restaurant associated with it and menu items to select from. Parents may place orders up to 1 month in advance if they choose. Every month an email will be sent out letting parents know ordering is open. See below for important details and frequently asked questions. If you don’t see an answer to your question, please contact Candace Armogida at carmogida@ironacademy.org.

FAQ:

What if I want to change my lunch order?

Orders must be changed no later than 2 days before the lunch is delivered. Monday lunches must be changed by Saturday, Wednesday lunches must be changed by Monday, etc.

What if my son wakes up sick, can my lunch order be refunded?

Unfortunately, no. Orders cannot be changed or canceled with such short notice. You are welcome to come to the school at lunch time to pick up your son’s lunch. Otherwise, it will be given to another student or staff member.

What if school is closed, such as in the case of bad weather?

If Iron Academy makes the decision to close school, all orders will be canceled and you will receive a credit on your account to be applied to a future order. Refunds cannot be given.

I am unable to order on a specific day, why?

Please make sure that day is not a holiday or your son’s grade is not scheduled for a special activity, such as a field trip. For your convenience, we “blackout” days where lunches should not be ordered either by the entire school or by certain grades. Please check the school calendar.

I would like to order lunches for my son, but he has dietary restrictions and there are not enough options available.

Please contact Candace Armogida (carmogida@ironacademy.org) to discuss the possibility of adding menu items that will fit your needs.

I noticed the menu items are more expensive than in the restaurant, why is this?

We need to increase the cost of each item slightly (usually by a few cents) to cover the cost of credit card processing fees and taxes. Iron Academy does not make a profit from the lunch ordering system.
